Tour Itinerary :
Day 1 :
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

In this 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga  Our journey through the Moroccan desert begins in Marrakech: at the airport, at your hotel, or any other point of your choice. There you will be picked up by our driver/guide to start the road trip in a vehicle equipped with the best comforts.

We will cross the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest in this mountain range, at about 2,200 meters above sea level, leaving behind spectacular panoramic views and Berber villages where time seems to have stopped. A few kilometers before Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco for its famous studios, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 (optional entrance).

It won’t be the only fortress to be encountered, because from then on we will travel part of the road of the thousand kasbahs’, through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley. The rose bushes occupy hectares and hectares of land. In the second, palm trees, birch, and almond trees grow at the foot of the river, which gives it its name.

Precisely in the Dades Valley, we will make a stop on the way to spend the night in a Riad full of charm and regain strength for the intense day of the next day, which will take us to the very heart of the Moroccan desert.

Day 2 :
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

The day begins with breakfast in the riad, setting the stage for a spectacular drive toward the desert, first through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, where ancient 19th-century fortresses stand as silent landmarks of the former caravan routes. The journey then takes us to Tinghir and the magnificent Todra Gorges, the narrowest and highest canyon in the region, where we pause to admire panoramic views of the old mud-brick Berber villages perched above the lush palm groves, dramatic cliffs, and the gorge floor. Continuing eastward, we drive through an ever-changing landscape to Erfoud, a city renowned globally for its rich fossil deposits, offering an optional visit to a local workshop to observe the intricate process of extracting and polishing fossils and black marble. Finally, the road transforms into an open, black desert leading to the village of Merzouga, where a warm welcome awaits with a traditional glass of mint tea; from here, the grand finale begins with an hour-long camel trek into the towering, golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun descends, painting the shifting sands with incredible color, we arrive at the Luxury Desert Camp, where modern comforts (including flush toilets and showers) meet the purity of the deep desert sky, providing an unparalleled opportunity for stargazing before enjoying dinner and a restful night under a canopy of millions of stars.

Accommodation includes dinner, bed, and breakfast.

Day 3 :
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

The magical sunset and the majestic starry sky of the previous day have their continuation in the sunrise of the third day, which you will be able to contemplate from the camp. With the light of the new day, it will be time to taste the breakfast included in the accommodation and then take a comforting shower, which will be done in the camp or a hotel in Merzouga depending on the package contracted. After that, it will be time to leave by road to Rissani, a city known for having one of the most Exotic Souks in the southeast of the country.

After that, we will continue towards Ouarzazate through some Berber towns such as Alnif and Tazarine. We will also cross the Draa Valley and its extensive palm grove, considered the largest in North Africa. This can be seen in one of the towns on the route Called Agdz

From here, the return trip to Marrakech will take us back to Ouarzazate and the Atlas Mountains, which we will now cross through the Ait Saoun pass, at about 1,600 meters above sea level. Late afternoon, you will arrive in Marrakech
