Tour Itinerary:

This Day Trip to Essaouira departs from Marrakech at your accommodation or any preferred meeting point. We recommend starting at 8:00 AM to fully enjoy the day.

As we head south of Marrakech, the landscape shifts into vast Argan forests, where we will stop at a local women’s cooperative to see the traditional extraction of argan oil used for both culinary and cosmetic purposes. The drive, including this cultural stop, takes approximately three hours, bringing us to the coastal gates of the former Portuguese citadel, Mogador, by 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, you will have the free time to navigate the sea-breeze-filled medina, visit the bustling fishing port where blue boats line the docks, and walk the historic Skala ramparts with their impressive bronze cannons. After a leisurely afternoon exploring the artisan workshops or enjoying a fresh seafood lunch by the water, we will reconvene around 4:00 PM for the return journey.

The drive back to the Red City is direct, lasting about two and a half hours, with an expected arrival in Marrakech by 7 PM.
